HOW DO TOXINS AND CHEMICALS EFFECT YOUR SKIN HEALTH AND WELLNESS?
First of all, it’s important to understand the current landscape of the U.S. beauty industry standards. Briefly,
- 1938 was the last time a law was passed addressing the chemicals in our personal care products.
- In the U.S. there are over 11 banned ingredients in our products. In the European Union, there are more than 1,300 ingredients
- There are over 10,000 chemicals being used in our personal care products
- The incidence of cancer in the US has increased from 1 in 20 to 1 in 8; and, 1 out of 5 personal care products have ingredients that are linked to cancer.
